SPANISH MEAT GOATS AWAITING SORTING IN SAN ANGELO, TEXAS We travel to different ranches to purchase the best stock available. Goats are sorted for a number of traits. We are looking for only the best to be transported. Goats with runny noses, larger udders and hoof problems are immediately eliminated. We then sort for straight backs, good rumps and general overall "meatiness"!

PENNED AND READY TO LOAD Here is a load of Spanish nannies ready to be loaded and transported to Arkansas. I personally helped sort these goats. Believe it or not there were only twelve does culled and replaced in this shipment of one hundred eighty. We arrived at the feedlot at 8:00 a.m. The goats were "chuted" and three of us sorted for conformation, udders, runny noses and any other defects (lumps etc.) that we felt would not be in the best interest of our customer and to ensure the healthiest goats ready for transport. By 11:00 a.m. all one hundred eighty goats were loaded and on their way!
